"Started out rough - me and Mama in a shelter./Now, she sits on 5 acres, and her baby's fly as Delta."
My parents had me young, and while my dad was in college, my mom and I lived in a homeless shelter. The encouragement and discipline instilled in me from my parents, combined with the positivity passed from growing up with my grandparents gave me the confidence to achieve everything I chose to pursue. A few music videos gave me direction...
My dad was a DJ, so I fell in love with hip hop music from an early age. When I first started rapping, I didn't know what message I wanted to put out. I started with poetry, which led me to Black on Black Rhyme Poetry Troupe. I was inspired by other artists and reading into history, and that's what inspired the name 3Fifs.
After taking a life break, God reinstilled my passion for music. So many things have changed in my life since my last release; things that broke me down, but my faith and my music have built me back better. Look.Listen.Learn
